Peugeot 208 GTI 1.6T THP200 - Etuners stage4 hybrid 98ron

Upgrading your THP200 with a hybrid enables the engine to produce more than 270hp while still using 98RON. To complete the package you will need to get a larger intercooler, an upgraded full exhaust and upgraded boost pipes on your engine. Together with a JCW sized hybrid turbo, based on the stock THP200 turbo unit, the engine produces 272hp at 1.45bar of boost.

    hello.
I have Peugeot 308 GTI and it has hybrid turbo too. Also has bigger intercooler, upgrated exhaust with downpipe and inoxcar catback, air cold intake, hardpipe, boost pipes, diverter valve from GFB, GFB boost controller and water meth injection from AEV V2. Do you have the same water / meth injection? Because i see him on the photo, but it wasnt show in the text. And please what value in psi you have in start position and full boost on the AEM controller . And 1,45 bar is yours the max pressure for turbo? I have the 1,45 too but without water/meth injection. But AEM kit will be install in this week. If you have the water meth injection, don´t try a bigger pressure from turbo? Is safe goes to 1,55-1,6 bar in the midle rpm? And do you have original clutch or some upgrated kit?

    sorry for many questions 🙂

Hi Jozef! If you are using 98RON or 100RON fuel and water methanol, you can probably get away with operating the turbo at 1.55. Anything above that is risky for a stock engine and will most certainly wear your clutch quickly.
At 1.45 the turbo is very efficient and safe for long term use, whether it is for daily driving or racing and hill climbs.

    Hi Alex.
    Thank you so much 🙂
I see many upgrades witch this engine with torque over 400 Nm here. I had 247 ps and 355 Nm before upgrated full exhaust (from downpipe, no exhaust maniflol d)with 1,35-1,4 bar on turbo pressure. I want around 275-285 ps and some 430 Nm because I see here some peugeot 208 GTI with 300 hp and around 420 Nm and Mini Cooper (175 version with hybrid turbo) with 436 Nm (322lb/ft) and 280hp. And this 208 GTi has massive torque also. All theese upgrages has original clutch?
