VW Golf 7 2.0 TDI – Etuners Stage1 ECu remap

This MY2013 Volkswagen Golf  Mk7 110 2.0 TDI is a equipped with a CRBC engine and a DSG6/DQ250 Gen3 DSG gearbox. This combination of hardware produces great gains, both in terms of power and driveability. The engine was remapped in combination with the gearbox, as the removal of torque limitations from it is essential to make power.

Our friendly customer drove all the way from Toowoomba to Hi-Power Racing Developments to have an Etuners custom stage 1 ECU and DSG tune for his bog stock mk7 Golf TDI. As delivered, it made 93.7kw at the wheels on a Dyno Dynamics rolling road dyno. With an Etuners custom stage 1 tune, power increased to 115.8kw at the wheels. Gains of 22kw+ were made through the entire rev range. Coupled with our DSG tune, our customer reported smoother and faster gearshifts along with much improved driveability. Definitely a pleasant drive back to Toowoomba .
