VW Eos 2.0 TSI – Stage 4 Garrett GT30

The 2.0 TSI EA888 engines are very friendly to big turbo kits, even when things get a little bit big on the turbo’s side. This particular EOS uses a completely stock engine, combined with bigger injectors, upgraded exhaust and a big turbo kit to deliver more than 100% horsepower over stock. A key factor to making the engine withstand this crazy amount of power is to control and limit torque as much as possible.

Engine operation with the big turbo kit

In order for the GT30 turbo to be efficient and produce more power than a typical K04 setup, it needs to run high boost. And at the same time, be safe enough to keep the pistons and connecting rods where they should be.
