Nissan Frontier/Navara 2.5 Dci – Stage 1

The Nissan Frontier 2.5 Dci is a good light truck. In America it is called Frontier, in the rest of the world it is called Navara.
It is a little bit of a Swiss Army knife, this is why it needs a little bit of help, in terms of power and torque.
Rated at 188hp from the manufacturer, it gains a significant amount of power with an ECU remap. Performance results range from 210-220 on an Etuners Stage1 ECU remap. The version that we tested on dyno had an automatic gearbox and large tyres. These two factors usually affect transmission losses badly as they increase the amount of energy lost in friction inside the wheel and inside the gearbox itself.
Although piggiback solutions exist for this engine, ECU remaps outperform them both in power and torque as well as driveability.

- Maximum wheel horsepower: 160 whp (measured 138whp as stock), gains 22whp
- Maximum wheel torque: 244 Lbft (measured 217 Lbft as stock), gains 27 Lbft
