Apart from its beautiful exterior design, the 3 liter version of the Cayenne PO536 ehybrid combines a powerful gasoline turbocharged and directly injected engine together with electric motors and reasonable battery range. To be able to commute daily on electric power but also be able to enjoy the car on longer trips and track days. The DCBE single turbo internal combustion engine produces approximately 340hp, with the rest being added by electric motors, up to 462hp in total. With 14.3kW of battery the electric motors can provide up to 50km or range.
With stock software the car made 432whp on Mustang dyno. We then developed a custom #etuners Stage1 engine tune and power went up to 481whp together with big torque gains.
To produce and maintain this much power, the hybrid battery needs to be fully charged as it requires the combined effort of both power units.
