We loved the new Peugeot 3008 1.6HDI BlueHDI120 EAT6 MY2017. The combination of power and technology on the car is amazing. Not only does the 1.6HDI engine produce its best in terms of stock power and torque, the EAT6 gearbox manages to deliver power smoothly and effortlessly on the road too.
On our dyno it produced 118.3hp and 274Nm (estimated flywheel power) as stock.
All Peugeot/Citroen automatic gearboxes are equipped with torque restrictions to avoid excessive power from the engine. The custom remap that we have developed for the platform takes this into account. EAT6 likes it, the engine likes it and power rose to 141.5hp. There was also a torque gain of 60Nm, rising to 334Nm (flywheel).
