Audi keeps on pushing the performance on its new models by improving both the engineering and style that goes into them. Sometimes this is more obvious to a tuner than to anybody else, just because of the fantastic performance gains that a new engine brings with it. Specially when compared to the previous engine code, the new DAZA engines have a lot to offer in terms of power and torque after a remap. Just a few days before, we tested it on a completely stock car and an Etuners Stage1 ECU remap. Results were fantastic. Little did we know that the addition of an upgraded downpipe and a Stage2 remap would help so much!
As delivered, this brand new RS3 (engine code DAZA) managed a best of 221kw at the wheels, measured in awd mode. A custom down pipe was fabricated and Etuners stage 2 calibration was added. Peak power rose to 283kw at the wheels, with a 50% increase in torque. Power increased by 60kw through the entire rev range. Amazing results from a down pipe and tune!

- Maximum wheel power: 283kW (measured stock 221kW), gains 62kW at the wheels
