Tom's Audi RS3 8V.2 2.5TFSI - Etuners custom E85 tune

Ethanol based fuels are a great source for more horsepower. Using them on cars that do not permit it as stock is a challenge that needs to be settled through countless hours of tuning and testing on dyno. Audi’s DAZA engine is not meant to work with E85 out of the box. Because of the fuel type’s very friendly characteristics it is possible to do so after a custom tune has been installed to modify all the parameters needed. Once it has been done properly, there are great gains to be made. As proven by Tom’s RS3 which was already on an #etuners Stage2 for 98RON custom tune from us. Wanting to go faster, we decided to run E85 fuel.

On our custom stage 2 98Ron tune, it produced 285awkw. With a custom Etuners E85 file loaded and massaged, peak power rose to 370awkw or 85 wheel kw gain over 98RON.

The best quartermile time it run on 98RON with full weight was 11.20s. By changing fuel types and a little bit of tweaking power rose to 360wkw. While testing the car run 10.77s first, followed by 10.80s and finally 10.66s@131mph, making it Australias quickest and fastest Audi RS3 8V, possibly top 5-10 globally with true street tyres. We are looking forward to improving times and performance!

You should really install a forge Turbo inlet, it will give you a lot more boost and top end power gains (I bet on E85 over 25-30hp).
    Great results..
