Porsche Panamera 971 E-hybrid 2.9V6 biturbo – #Etuners Stage2
Under normal circumstances, one would question the urge to tune a Porsche. Even more so, when the engine in question is the almighty 2.9TT which would normally be found in a high performance Audi RS model. It seems this was not enough even for Porsche engineers, to use what existed already.
Taking advantage of the fact that anything with a battery these days is considered “green” and “environmentally friendly”, they created a monster. By combining a very powerful electric motor/battery with a very strong engine, we ended up with a car that has tuning potential from both its gasoline and electric powerplant. This translates into gaining almost 190hp and producing a whopping 150Nm over stock, with minimal hardware modifications and a custom #Etuners Stage2 tune.
One could ask, what use is making a car that is already fast when 0-100 in 4.6s is by all means fast, even faster? Whether you are a doomsday prepper or your country just happened to be at war, the chances are you will want to take advantage of every last hp out of it. The real answer is to avoid smart bombs and random drone strike or antiair missiles gone bananas.
