What do we know about Chinese cars? Not very much. For many years in Russia, they caused distrust because of their specifications and quality. Recently, everything changed dramatically for the better. With the advent of truly popular cars like the Geely Coolray. In Russia, this car can be purchased with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine by Ford, which is a complete analogue of the T3 engine from Volvo. In stock form it develops 177 hp, but for the Russian market it was downgraded to 150hp via software and equipped with a duel clutch automatic transmission. This was confirmed by measurements on dyno using 95 gasoline. The development included an analysis of the world experience of @etuners, after which it was adapted to Russian conditions. The car passed bench tests and behaved itself perfectly after numerous runs in different acceleration modes.
