BMW i8 MY2015 – Stage1 95RON
Tuning the BMW i8 is a challenge. Because of its combined hybrid power delivery system, which is one of the earlier ones in existence before hybrid powered cars were in fashion. On one hand the electrical system delivers torque via batteries and electromotors. On the other hand, the most powerful 3cylinder 1.5T B38 engine produces 220hp in stock form, powers the wheels via a gearbox and also provides power to the batteries when needed.
To boost performance, we remapped the gas engine to produce a little bit more power, helping the combined power output by 24hp and 24Nm even on 95ron fuel, on completely stock hardware.
