Audi RS3 8V 2.5 TFSI – Stage2 98RON

Coming back for a stage2 ECU remap after having enjoyed the stage1, this Audi RS3 got an upgraded downpipe and an intake kit. Improving the air supply to the compressor wheel and reducing exhaust backpressure is a critical part in making the turbo more efficient. Easier flow through the exhaust means that the turbo can produce more power without having difficulty in sending exhaust gas to the atmosphere.

Notes about the Stage 2 ECU remap settings
During the development of the remap it was noticed that although the stock turbo can have very big overboost, high overboost means higher fuel quality is necessary to avoid knock. It also hurts performance in real world driving conditions. Overboost was limited in order to get good and consistent power results. Below is a comparison between Stock map, Etuners Stage1 and Etuners Stage2. You will notice that Stage1(red line) and Stage2 (green line) have very similar torque. This is because the power gain is worth the sacrifice.
