VW Amarok 3.0TDI PanAmericana TDI600 4Motion MY2023 – Stage1
While many things can be said about the new Amarok, because of its close relationship with the Ford Ranger, share the same engines and underbody and the fact they are produced in the same factories, only one is for sure: It is very tunable.
The engine gains significant power via software even on completely stock hardware and just an engine tune.
We measured this Amarok stock, on our Mainline dyno. It made 197whp/147kw at the wheels. We then developed a Stage1 tune and measured again. Power rose to 222whp/166wkw. With midrange gains exceeding 54whp. Fantastic gains to be realised with minimal modifications.
