Toyota Yaris GR Gen2 MY2024 – Stage2 98RON
Back in March this year, we measured this beautiful Yaris GR facelift on our dyno on completely stock software and an upgraded downpipe. It made 292Hp with 431Nm. Unfortunately because the engine’s electronic control unit was too new we were unable to tune it at the time.
The facelift Yaris features a Gen4 Denso unit, which was inaccessible for reprogramming until very recently. Luckily for us, things changed earlier this week:
Car came back to us with the best upgrades available in the market. An Eventuri cold air intake, DO88 turbo inlet pipe, Scara73 front mount intercooler, an improved high-flow downpipe and Akrapovic exhaust.
Starting from the car’s own firmware, we developed a custom #etuners Stage2 tune. After many modifications to the tune, we did repeated runs on dyno to check for power stability over time vs heat soaking. The Yaris is a track toy and repeatable, reliable power is much more important than just the maximum numbers available. Power went up to 349hp and torque to 515Nm, verified run after run with the finalized tune.
